Infrastructure and Operational Excellence
We continued to strengthen our IT infrastructure to support expanding operations and new locations. During the year, new infrastructure was deployed across facilities, alongside datacentre modernisation with smart racks, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and robust Wi-Fi connectivity. These investments have enhanced system reliability, accessibility and operational continuity.
Cybersecurity and Risk Management
Cybersecurity remains a critical priority, supported by a structured and continuously evolving framework. During the year, the Company achieved ISO 27001 certification. Security posture was further strengthened through deployment of network access control (NAC), bi-annual vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT), and multiple phishing simulation campaigns to build employee awareness.
Digital Platforms and Enterprise Systems
Our core enterprise architecture continues to be anchored on SAP, enabling integrated data management and process standardisation across the organisation. Digital adoption is well advanced at key points in the value chain, including paperless electronic lab notebooks in R&D and electronic batch records in finished dosage manufacturing, while broader shopfloor digitalisation is being implemented in phases. We also expanded the deployment of business applications such as Salesforce CRM, LIMS and MES, strengthening visibility, traceability and execution across functions.
Automation, Data and Smart Manufacturing
Automation and analytics initiatives were scaled up through robotic process automation (RPA) and real-time data systems. Smart factory initiatives, including real-time reactor utilisation tracking, are enabling improved operational control and decision-making. Data resilience was enhanced through immutable backup systems and automated protection frameworks, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.
AI and Emerging Capabilities
We continued to advance our digital capabilities through selective adoption of AI-led tools. This included deployment of document management systems with AI-enabled summarisation and search, along with in-house tools to improve communication and productivity across teams.
